What exactly is the Betterworks Engagement Survey?

It’s our pulse-style survey engine that lets you collect employee sentiment and feedback inside the same flow where daily work already happens. This means no more scattered Google Forms or one-off Slack polls — responses live in one place for fast action.

How is it different from a once-a-year engagement survey?

Traditional surveys happen yearly; feelings change weekly. Betterworks delivers continuous, lightweight pulses so you capture real issues while they’re still fresh.

Will employees actually take it?

Each pulse is just a handful of questions, delivered in the tools they already use (email, Slack, Teams). The survey typically takes <2 minutes to finish — so completion rates stay high.

Are responses anonymous?

Yes. You decide the anonymity threshold (for example, show results only when five or more people have answered) to protect individual voices.

How often should we run pulses?

Most customers start quarterly, then move to monthly on key topics (belonging, manager support, etc.). You can schedule, pause or trigger pulses automatically.

Can we customize the questions?
